The CNR passenger fleet originally consisted of
cars from the railways that formed it.
These cars were renumbered and renamed throughout their careers. This Appendix lists these cars and when they
bore these numbers and/or names. It is
arranged sequentially to allow the reader to find cars based on their
numbers.

This Appendix lists CNR cars that were renamed
by CNR. It is arranged alphabetically to
allow the reader to find cars by their names.

This Appendix lists all CPR named passenger cars
by name as built, from the same series as those drawn.

– C.P.R. Passenger Cars Listed Numerically Only
Many CPR passenger cars were renumbered several times in their careers
and lost their original names. This
Appendix lists all of these renumbered cars drawn by Merrilees, as well
as
those cars from the same series. Some of
these cars were also renamed at some point.
They are found in the following Appendix alphabetically listed
as
renamed. This Appendix also includes Toronto,
Hamilton &
Buffalo Lines cars drawn by Merrilees that became CPR cars.

“Appendix H – C.P.R. Passenger Cars Listed Numerically Only” by their
CPR
numbers.
